This is Brooks’ first show in San Diego since 2015 when he played at what was at the time called the Valley View Casino Center in the Midway District. This show is downtown San Diego in the Gaslamp Quarter/East Village area, full of bars and restaurants, which are sure to fill up before and after the concert.
It is Brooks’ only West Coast show as part of a national stadium tour, meaning San Diego has one thing over its sort-of rival to the north, Los Angeles.
