Tickets are $119 for GA – pretty much the same price as a regular concert these days – and $299 for the “Hang Five” pass, with lounges and special viewing areas for all five stages. Sold out are the VIP “Hang Ten” passes.
A three-day GA pass is $279. There is no two-day pass.
KAABOO is a music, comedy, arts and, well party festival taking place at the popular horse racing track where “the turf meets the surf.” It features more than 80 bands, DJs and comedians. And, of course, comes with that good-looking, fun-loving, everything’s-great San Diego crowd.
The bands include Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band on Friday, Aerosmith on Saturday and Jack Johnson on Sunday.
The event goes from noon-10 p.m., on Friday and Saturday and Sunday until 9 p.m. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. There is one re-entry allowed per day, but not after 7 p.m. Blankets, beach towels and day backpacks are allowed. Large bags, coolers, chairs, tents or items to mark off areas by the stages are not allowed at KAABOO.
