You read that correctly – dollar beers! It’s every Thursday from 9-10 p.m., at American Junkie in the Gaslamp Quarter.
• Expo Tequila En Tijuana – Sept. 25-26
The oldest tequila expo in Mexico takes place this weekend in Tijuana. It features more than 20 tequilas and a mariachi band adds to the complete Mexican flavor of the event. It takes place on Revolution Blvd. The cost is just $6.

• El Cajon (And Next Weekend, Le Mesa) Oktoberfest – Sept.25-26 & Oct 2-3

San Diego’s only multi-week Oktoberfest celebration features German beer and an authentic oompha band directly from Germany.
Next weekend, the Le Mesa Oktoberfest takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There are also Oktoberfest celebrations in Encinitas (Oct. 3, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., free) and Ocean Beach (Oct 8-9, OB Pier, free).

San Diego Restaurant Week – Sept. 25-Oct.3
More than 90 restaurants are offering pre-fixe lunch and dinner specials. Two-course lunches are $10, 15, $20 and $25 and dinners are $20, $30, $50 and $60 per person. It covers nearly every city in San Diego County.

• Salsa Under The Stars – Oct. 15

A free night of listening to and dancing to salsa under the stars is happening at The Headquarters, which is behind Seaport Village. It features live music from Manny Cepeda & Orchestra, which often plays at Sevilla in the Gaslamp Quarter.
This monthly event goes from 6-9 p.m. Here are the dates for the rest of the summer and thru the fall:
