The holiday spirit is all over San Diego and inside Parq Nightclub in the Gaslamp Quarter with its Santa’s Lair, a pop-up bar holiday experience.
Santa’s Lair, open Thursdays thru Saturdays until Dec. 23, from 4-10 p.m., is a look at Saint Nick’s cozy headquarters. Either that or it’s his secret party room The Lair has a Christmas tree, stockings on a chimney, wrapped gift boxes from Santa’s “little helpers,” soft and melodious music and drinking and dancing under holiday lights.
It also has cocktails, of course, because with the nice comes a little naughty. The drinks include Not My Buttons, a blend of Grey Goose with St. George Spiced Pear, Gingerbread and Cardamon; and the Havana Christmas, a libation with Havana Anejo, All Spice and lemon and orange citrus.
There is also a curated selection of meats and cheeses for food and te big guy will be in to check and see who’s naughty and nice and to pose with people for selfied.
There is an admission fee of $10. Happy Hour is from 4-6 with no cover.
Santa’s Lair is open from Friday, November 25 through Friday, December 23 – reservations are now open. The holiday pop-up experience is available for private events and holiday gatherings.
