$5 Off Code For Alternative Strip Casinos Transportation
Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas is a big splash of afternoon pool parties, nighttime nightclub parties, going to bars, shows and any and everything else the mind and body can take for three days and nights.
The problem is, getting a ride from a cab or Lyft/Uber, or even cramming onto The Deuce bus to get to all these places can really test one’s patience.
I’ve found that a great alternative to waiting in long lines (or pretty much waiting period) is the Las Vega Monorail. It goes along the backside of the casinos on The Strip from the MGM Grand to the Convention Center and even past that to the SLS Hotel.
And it’s got a special fare for Labor Day Weekend. Through Monday, Sept. 3, riders who purchase tickets online with a special link receive $5 off the purchase of 2- or 3-day, unlimited-ride Monorail passes.
A two-day pass is $18 and a three-day pass is $24. This is the discount pricing. A one-day 24-hour pass is $13 and individual rides are $5. You can also buy tickets any of the stops from a machine so this isn’t something you have to do in advance, tho in Vegas, 5 bucks could turn into 500 bucks.
Trains run 7 a.m.-3 a.m., on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays, tho hours are often extended to 24 hours during holiday weekends. Trains arrive at the stations every 4-8 minutes. So while you’re stepping on board in a few minutes, think about those who are waiting in a cab/Uber line at the front of the casino.

By the way, a Mandalay Bay extension is in the works.
Cheers!
