Holiday Parties, Family Time & Then The NYE Parties

Merry Christmas!
And also have a Happy New Year!
This is the holiday message from PubClub.com, your friendly website that posts stories on fun events, travel, nightclubs and bars food, drink, cocktails, beer and wine.
I am spending Christmas with my family in Tennessee this year. I hope you are with your family, as well. And get all the gifts you want for Christmas! It’s such a special time and the spirit of the season can be seen and felt everywhere – even in crowded shopping malls and smelling the cooking in mom’s kitchen.
This will be a tough one for us, as it’s our first Christmas without dad. We will remember him and the true meaning of Christmas, as well.
Looking back and looking ahead, how was your 2021 and what fun things do you have planned for 2022? For PubClub, December and the transition into New Year’s Eve is one of the most fun times of the year.
This year, I don’t have any special New Year’s Eve plans to go anywhere. I’ll be in San Diego, patrolling the Gaslamp Quarter. I’m interested to experience this for the first time because the nightlife there is pretty much like New Year’s Eve every weekend.
On New Year’s Day I may wander into one of the many restaurant/bars that has a bottomless mimosas brunch special.
Often, go with friends to Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve. I prefer the block party on the Strip to the one on Fremont Street (better crowd, younger crowd, no cover charge, real fireworks, etc.) But we won’t be doing that this year due to COVID-19 concerns.
When the holiday season is done, the wrapping paper in big piles scattered around the living room, the New Year’s hats and noisemakers crinkled and sitting in a corner of the room after quickly being discarded, take a moment to reflect on the moments you’ve experienced.
And then do it all again – and even bigger and bolder – tor the rest of the year.
Cheers!
