Smackfest Events South Bay Oktoberfest Bay Club Ticket Prices & Information

March 6, 2018 by kevinwilkerson Leave a Comment

2nd Annual Event Date Is Oct. 13 In Redondo Beach

South Bay Oktoberfest Bay Club
It’s Hot Hot Hot at the South Bay Oktoberfest with fun frauleins and Joe’s Band.

You don’t have to go to Alpine Village in Torrance or Old World in Huntington Beach to get a real taste of Oktoberfest in the Los Angeles South Bay Beach Cities.

All you have to do is go to Redondo Beach for the second annual South Bay Oktoberfest. It’s Saturday, Oct. 13, at Bay Club health club. That’s one week after the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair beer garden, by the way.

Early-Bird tickets (available until Sept. 15) are $35, and VIP is $50. VIP gets a special mug and access to the VIP pool deck with mixed drinks. Regular prices are $45 and $60.

Put on by Smackfest Events and local promoter Berry Bly, South Bay Oktoberfest features a dozen craft beers, wines, spirits and food samples, all included in the ticket price. There’s also music from Joe’s Band and Bly’s own Soul Shaker band.

The event goes from 2-6 p.m.

It’s important to note that the Smackfest Events’ inaugural wine & craft beer festival, held in May at Bay Club, sold out within just a few days. So don’t delay – get your tickets in advance.

To purchase tickets, go to the Smackfest Events website.

Bay Club Redondo Beach, which looks out over the boats and water of King Harbor Marina, is located along Harbor Drive at 849 North Harbor Drive.

Now, if this whets your zest for Oktoberfest there is, of course Alpine Village, Old World and even a fun Oktoberfest in Big Bear. This, plus the South Bay event, gives beer-seeking people throughout Los Angeles with a true “oompha” spirit.

Of course, nothing compares to the real thing, Oktoberfest, in Munich, but then again you don’t have to fly all the way to Germany to get a taste of it, so to speak.
