Boomtown Brewery, 700 Jackson St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
In 2017, Boomtown Brewery embarked on a journey to bring artisanal beer to the creative community of the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District neighborhood. The brewery crafts Old World, unfiltered, gravity-fed, full-flavored beers with integrity and a commitment to the arts. The venue serves as a haven for self-expression that showcases bands and art galleries, with many of their labels, furnishings, fixtures, and structures designed by local artists.
Boomtown Brewery weathered the pandemic with unprecedented support from the community, selling beer right from their loading dock. The taproom has since returned to a space where people gather to enjoy beer and engage with like-minded people at a variety of events that range from live music and DJ sets to benefits, block parties to bicycle rides, and more.
