Why Good-Looking Women Are A Rare Site In These Trendy Beer Bars

One of the hottest trends of the past decade – and it’s getting even hotter leading into the Roaring 2020s – is craft beer and the craft breweries where the beer is brewed.
Cities are promoting craft breweries as a tourist destination and states are creating “craft beer trails,” providing a map of microbreweries in their areas. Craft and microbreweries provide small-batch, locally-brewed beers you can’t anywhere else and that’s a good selling point for beer-loving travelers.
But there’s one thing missing from these places that you won’t read about anywhere else: while craft breweries are hot, the girls in them are not.
Look at the photos of websites and blogs that tout craft breweries and you’ll never see a good-looking girl. That’s because there are not any in there, other than the occasional waitress or bartender. Mostly, it’s guys with big beards, tattoos and man buns. You know, craft beer people. Are those the kind of people you want to be hanging out with in a bar?
Not me.
The reason for the lack of girls is that the vast majority good-looking girls don’t drink craft beer. They might have a Bud Light or Coors Light if they drink beer at all, but they prefer vodka. Or White Claw when they can get their claws on it.
They like vodka because they think it’s the lowest-calorie alcohol and they can maintain their curvaceous figures easier than drinking beer. A 1.5-ounce shot of vodka has the same calories as gin, rum, whiskey or tequila (97 calories) so it’s not as trimming as they like to believe but craft beers can be anywhere between 150 and 300 calories.
Girls – when they are together in a group anyway – also love to drink champagne. And craft breweries don’t serve champagne. Wine, either.
This is not a knock at craft beers or craft breweries. It’s simply stating a fact that if you’re a single guy and are looking to meet girls, they are not the best places to do it.
