Who Needs Doggie Treats When You Can Give Your Canine Beer!?
It can be a “ruff” existence being a pooch, but a dog’s life just got better.
That’s because it now has beer!
And no, not the kind where the owner shares a few sips of his brew but an actual beer brewed specifically for dogs. It’s Dog Brew by Busch and it’s beer for your dog. Seriously.
Here’s how the dogs of Busch explain it:
“Busch Dog Brew is an all-natural product and contains only fresh ingredients. Made with vegetables, herbs, spices, water, and pork broth to provide your best buddy with a nutritious and tasty snack that helps to promote a healthy digestive system. Bone broth is also a great way for dogs who struggle to eat solid food to get all of their extra nutrients. Your best friend is going to love it. We’re pawsitive.”
The ingredients are bone-in pork butt, Whole corn, Celery, Basil, Mint, Turmeric, Ginger, Water
It is important to note that this beer is non-alcoholic. It also doesn’t contain hops because both alcohol and hops are bad for dogs.
Busch states that the beer can be served by itself or poured over dry dog food. It comes in 12-ounce cans – just like the human’s beer – and can be consumed all at once with no harm to the dog (tho you might find yourself having to take the dog on a few more walks, unless you happen to have a fire hydrant in your backyard) or in portions. An open can will last for five days when stored in the fridge.
Tho Busch notes that some dogs don’t like cold food or beverages.
So of course, if you buy your dog beer, the natural redneck question is “can I drink it, too!?” The answer is yes.
The beer is not available in grocery or beer stores; you have to order it on-line on the Dog Brew website: www.busch.com/busch-dog-brew
