National Cocktail Day Bourbon & Whiskey Recipes
Ryem Thyme

·Ingredients:
· 1.5 parts Redemption Rye
· 1.5 parts grapefruit
· .25 parts lemon juice
· .75 Aperol
Instructions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and a few sprigs of thyme. Strain over rocks in an old fashioned glass. Top with tonic. Garnish with thyme.
Turkish Duet

Ingredients:
· 1 ½ parts Redemption High Rye Bourbon
· ½ part Montenegro Amaro
· ¼ part orgeat syrup
· 1 part fresh lemon juice
· 1 dash cardamom bitters
· 2 dashes rose water
· Rose bud for garnish
Instructions:
Shake all ingredients with ice. Fine strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a rose bud
Spiced

Ingredients:
· 2 parts Redemption High Rye Bourbon
· 3 cashes apple bitters
· 1 cinnamon stick
· Aromatic tonic water
· Star of anise for garnish
· Dried apple slice for garnish
Instructions:
Light a cinnamon stick on fire and put in glass, allow to burn until aromatic
· Leave cinnamon stick in glass and build cocktail over ice in a steamed wine or brandy glass. Add a splash of tonic water
The Waldorf – An Honor To A Classic Cocktail

Ingredients:
• 2 parts Rye Whiskey
• .75 parts Sweet Vermouth
• 3 dashes aromatic bitters
• Absinthe rinsed glass
Instructions:
Rinse nic and nora glass with absinthe. Pour excess into stirring glass. Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain neat into nic and nora. Garnish with expressed lemon peel
Practice Practice Practice – A Twist On The Whiskey Sour

Ingredients:
• .2 oz Bib & Tucker 6-Year-Old Small Batch Bourbon
• .75 oz Sour cherries syrup
• .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
• Dash of Angostura bitters
• Lemon wedge
Instructions
Shake all ingredients. Serve in a double rocks glass over ice.
National Cocktail Day Rum Recipes
King Cake Daiquiri by Lynnette Marrero

Ingredients:
• 1.5 oz Zacapa rum
• .5 Oz orgeat
• .75 oz lime juice
• 1 dash grated cinnamon
Instructions:
Take a coupe or martini glass using a cut lime, moisten the rim of the glass and dip it in purple, green and yellow sugar to decorate the glass in Mardi Gras colors. In a shaker, add grated cinnamon, orgeat, lime, then Zacapa rum. Add ice and shake and strain into cocktail glass.
La Vie en Velvet

• 1 oz. Cutwater Horchata Vodka
• .5oz Cutwater Dark Rum
• .5oz Coffee liqueur
• .5oz chocolate liqueur
• .5oz simple syrup
• 3 raspberries
Instructions:
Top with hand made vanilla cream cheese whipped cream
*Muddle raspberries at the bottom of a cocktail tin. Add all ingredients except whipped cream to tin. Shake with ice until cold. Double/fine strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with cream cheese whipped cream. Garnish with a stencil of raspberry dust and a raspberry thru cocktail pick.
*Vanilla Cream Cheese Whip recipe – Add 1 teaspoon cream cheese, 5oz heavy cream and 1oz vanilla syrup to a blender, blend on low until light and fluffy.
National Cocktail Day Tequila Recipes
JAJA Mango Shandy

1.5 oz. JAJA Blanco
1.5 oz. Mango Juice
Top with Mexican Lager
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a mango slice to top off with a tajin rim.
JAJA Mexican Cold Brew

• 2 oz. JAJA Añejo
• 2 oz. Cold Brew
• Top with Tonic Sparkling Water
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks highball glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a lemon wheel.
JAJA Pineapple Mule

• 2 oz. JAJA Reposado
• 1.5 oz. Pineapple Juice
• Top with Ginger Ale
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice on the rocks and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
1800 Earl Grey

• 2 oz. 1800 Cristalino
• ¼ oz. Elderflower liqueur
• ½ oz. Earl Grey syrup
ª ¾ oz. lemon juice
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with an edible flower.
1800 Añejo Sunset

Ingredients:
• 2 oz. 1800 Añejo
• ¾ oz. Demerara syrup
• ¾ oz. carrot juice
• ½ oz. lime juice
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a lime wheel and a salted pepper rim.
1800 Tequila Tea

• 2 oz. 1800 Reposado
• ¾ oz. honey syrup
• ¾ oz. lemon juice
• Iced peach black tea, to top
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice cubes and garnish with a lemon wheel.
Cristalino on Figueroa St.

• 1 ½ oz. 1800 Cristalino
• 1 oz. Cointreau
• ¾ oz. lime juice
• ½ oz. agave nectar
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
“Black and Gold” Margarita

• 1 ½ oz. 1800 Reposado
• 1 oz. pineapple juice
• ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
• ½ oz. agave nectar
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass with a black Hawaiian salt rim and garnish with a lime wedge.
DTLA Paloma

• 2 oz. 1800 Reposado
• 1 oz. grapefruit juice
• ¾ oz. Fresh lime juice
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Pour over fresh ice in a highball glass and garnish with a lime wedge.

Dutch 75

Ingredients
• 1.25 oz. Ketel One Citroen¢ē Flavored Vodka
• .75 oz. fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz. simple syrup
• 75 oz. Champagne or sparkling wine
Instructions
Combine Ketel One Citroen, lemon juice and simple syrup in a mixing glass.. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled champagne flute. Top with Champagne or sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Ketel One Botanical – Botanical 75

Ingredients:
• 1 ounces KOB Cucumber + Mint
• 1 ounce elderflower liqueur
• 1 oz. Lemon Juice
• 1 1/2 ounces Brut Sparkling Wine
Instructions:
Combine the Ketel One Botanical, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice in an ice filled shaker and shake for 10 seconds. Strain the mix into a champagne flute.Top with the sparkling one. Garnish each glass with a cucumber slice and enjoy.
I’ve Got A Slush On You

• 2 oz, Cutwater Hibiscus Vodka
• 2 oz. Aperol
• 2oz. strawberry syrup
• 1 lemon
• 6 drops rose water
Instructions
This is a frozen cocktail in the tasting room from the slushie machine, these instructions are for making at home: Add ingredients to a blender with ice. Blend on high until smooth consistency. Pour into 2 cocktail glasses and garnish with a mini red rose.
