
Stranahan’s Original whiskey is made from three ingredients: 100% malted barley, yeast, Rocky Mountain water and time in the barrel. The whiskey is a blend of whiskeys aged four, five, six and seven years in new American white oak barrels with a #3 char, before being cut to proof with Rocky Mountain Spring water.
Here are three cocktail recipes Stranahan’s Original whiskey. Bottles are available on Reserver Bar and Drizly. The prices is (appx.) $30 for the 375 ml bottle and $57 for the 750 ml.
Rocky Mountain Toddy Whiskey Cocktail
Ingredients:
2 oz Stranahan’s Original
6 oz hot brewed chamomile tea
Honey to taste
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Angostura Bitters
Instructions: Combine Stranahan’s Original and brewed chamomile tea in a glass mug. Add in honey to taste. Top with a dash of Angostura Bitters. Stir and garnish with a clove-studded lemon wheel.
Mile-High Manhattan Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Stranahan’s Original
.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
.75 oz Italian Bitter (Campari)
2 dashes chocolate bitters
Instructions: Combine Stranahan’s Original, Sweet Vermouth, Italian Bitter and stir. Pour into coupe glass and garnish with brandied cherry.
American Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients:
2 oz Stranahan’s Original
1 brown sugar cube
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Pinch grated cinnamon
Instructions: Muddle sugar cube, cinnamon and Angostura Bitters in base of shaker. Add Stranahan’s Original and shake with ice. Fine strain into ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with orange twist and cinnamon stick.
