Viejo Dominicano Combines Plantain Syrup With High-Quality Rum

And you may just go bananas over it.
That’s because it contains plantain syrup to give it a banana flavor. Mixed with the high-quality Ron Barceló Imperial rum, it’s a taste of the tropics while on – or dreaming of being on – your next tropical caper.
The cocktail also mixes in angostura bitters and black walnut bitters.
Barceló Imperial was awarded a Gold Medal and won the coveted “Best In Category” title at the 2008 International Cane Spirits Festival. It is aged between four and 10 years and has oak and spices in a dark brown rum.
Enjoy!
