It is a time, I know, of reflection, to look at our own mortality and to understand and appreciate the sacrifices of others for us. But that also means it’s a time of celebration.

And for singles, Easter Sunday makes for an entire weekend to do just that: celebrate with some awesome partying!

There are all sorts of events and activities happening around the USA and the world. With Good Friday, it is for many a three-day weekend. That means road trips to Vegas, Key West or other fun destinations.

Easter Sunday Champagne Brunches

At some, girls love to gather on Easter Sunday for late champagne brunches. These can be house parties or gatherings at restaurants.

If you don’t meet anyone at those events, then the bars are usually filled with singles the rest of the day.

Tip: if you are just a bunch of single guys on the prowl, get a reservation at a restaurant where girls are likely to go, for they often do these things as a “girls only” event and, well they are drinking champagne and getting giggly and silly, so you figure out the rest. Be sure and make a reservation as these places fill up fast.

Easter-Themed Pub Crawls

Fun places all have Easter-themed pub crawls, usually on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. And almost nothing beats a pub craw for meeting other single people. For one thing, you have something in common starting with the first bar: you are all on the same pub crawl together.

The craziest pub crawl I have ever encountered in the El Segundo Keg Hunt!  Yes, instead of hiding Easter eggs, the organizers hide kegs of beer. People are organized into teams, which always have some type of theme like a Halloween party, and go into bars searching for clues and then kegs. Well, as you can imagine, some people never actually search for kegs; they just bar hop (some literally!) along the route.

So yes, respect Easter for what it is and what it represents, but also don’t forget to get out and celebrate.
