Beads, Beers & Fat Tuesday Create An Early March Madness

I hope the Super Bowl party or bar event you were at was not as big of a thud as the game.

If it was – and where I was for the game was just okay – unlike the Los Angeles Rams, you have another chance to be a winner, for Mardi Gras is just around the corner. Fat Tuesday is March 5 in 2019, almost a month to the day after Super Bowl LIII.

When it comes to the party world, there is always something else on the horizon.

And this is a good one. It has sounds of Zyedo, massive parades, costumes, drinking in the streets and an overall big-time party scene. And, like St. Patrick’s Day, it’s celebrated pretty much in every town and city around the world.

Oh, certainly there are some places that go big a lot bigger than others. In America, it’s the Big Easy, New Orleans. There’s also a fun party and parade in San Diego and the first Mardi Gras parade in the USA was held in Mobile, Alabama, which has a party to this day.

Worldwide it’s all over Brazil and Rio in particular. And would you believe Dusseldorf and Cologne, Germany, also have huge Mardi Gras celebrations?

Don’t worry about going to any of those destinations if you can’t make it. I guarantee no matter where in the world you are on Fat Tuesday, you’ll find a local bar having some type of Mardi Gras party that night. Just put on some Mardi Gras beads, pound a few beers or Hurricanes and “laissez les bon temps rouler.” Yep, let the good times roll on Fat Tuesday.

And hey guess what – as I’m writing this, a Zydeco song just came on the Internet radio station I listen to, RadioTropRock.com. Is that a good sign or what!?

Cheers!
