PubClubbers Who Go To Bars & Restaurants Should Be Vaccinated
If officials really want to stop the spread of COVID-19 and especially the more contagious new strains from the UK and elsewhere, then they should immediately start vaccinating the following group of people.
And that is the PubClubbers, people who are going out to pubs and clubs around the world. They are the ones who are around the most people and the ones who are out spending their stimulus money at local bars and restaurants.
They are the ones who are first to travel, to bring that industry back to life.
In other words, they are the people who can get the world economy on its feet.
By vaccinating the PubClubbers, you not only protecting them but others around them (friends, family as well as others they encounter) and limiting the spread of the new virus variants but you’re providing jobs and keeping businesses open that have suffered through lockdowns, shutdowns and restrictions.
Instead, government officials are vaccinating drug addicts, prisoners and even zoo animals, while those who can do the most good for the economy – and are more likely to spread the new strains – are left unprotected.
Of course, we know what will happen. Governors and politicians will again shut down cities and local businesses. Require them to go back to outdoor only or put down further restrictions.
Events – festivals, concerts and sports – which are just starting to welcome back fans or are in the planning stages of having shows this summer or fall – will be back to ground zero.
And if that happens, more people will go back on employment and governments will be forced back into voting for (or agains) additional stimulus finding.
They could nip this in the bud right now simply by vaccinating the PubClubbers.
