Riverside County States Continued COVID-19 Concerns As The Reason These Southern California Music Events Can’t Take Place In April

news, Coachella and Stagecoach 2021 canceled
Both the Coachella and Stagecoach massive music festivals held in the desert town of Indio, CA, have been canceled for 2021.
They were scheduled for April; Coachella was to take place on two weekend, April 9-11 and 16-18, while Stagecoach was set for April 23-25. This comes on the heels of last year’s events first being postponed from the spring to the fall before they, too, were canceled.
The cancelations were done by the order of Riverside County under a public health order issued by county Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser. According to the health order, the events were cancelled due to “the worldwide epidemic of COVID-19 disease.”
Event promoter Golden Voice has not issued a response or statement as of Friday evening, and it’s unsure if will try to reschedule or just put it off for yet another year.
