Music Legends Playing ‘The Big Gig’ As Part Of North American Tour
They will be playing on the Marcus Amphitheater stage on Sunday, July 10.
The two teaming up for a summer concert tour, which will also have them in Montreal for the Festival d’été de Québe on July 7. They are calling this the Rock Paper Scissors tour.
They will be both performing separately and together, mixing in their own songs and a mix of other hits.
“I am very happy that we’re taking the chance to experiment this way,” Sting said. “I think people will be intrigued. I certainly am.”
“What intrigues me is that you get a good bunch of musicians together and interesting things will happen,” Gabriel said.
The rest of the Summerfest lineup has yet to be announced. The dates are June 29-July 3 and July 5-10.
Tickets are on sale, however. Prices are $20 GA on weekends and $13 during the weekdays. A three-day pass is $48 and an 11-day Power Pass is $90. Access to the Marcus Amphitheater is extra.
