World’s Largest Music Festival To Kick Off Labor Day Weekend

Milwaukee Summerfest 2021 will take place during the first two weekends of September, which means it will open on Labor Day Weekend. The dates are Sept. 2-4, 9-11, and 16-18. It will feature more than a thousand performances on 12 stages along the shores of Lake Michigan. This is an in-person event.
Among the artists are the Dave Matthews Band, which will play Sept. 15.
Ticket prices have yet to be announced.
Originally, Summerfest was scheduled for June and July 2021, but was pushed back due to COVID-19 concerns in Wisconsin. Scheduled to perform then was Luke Bryan, Justin Bieber, the Dave Matthews Band, blink-182, Christ Stapleton and Guns ‘N Roses.
From that lineup, only the Dave Matthews Band has been confirmed for September.
Those who had already purchased tickets for the original dates are urged to hold onto their tickets.
Recently undergoing a $51.3 million dollar renovation, the new American Family Insurance Amphitheater is the cornerstone of Summerfest, an event that has been bringing live music to Milwaukee for more than 50 years. It’s inaugural year took place one year before Woodstock.
The event also features more than 100 artists selling their crafts, food that is not just limited to bratwurst and – of course – lots of beer.
