Mega 80’s Rock Bands Combine On 40-City Tour July Thru September
The summer of 2012 just got a lot hotter.
Two of the most smokin’ rock bands of the 80s, KISS and Motley Crue, are touring this summer. And, get this – together!
That’s right, fans will not only be able to Rock ‘n Roll All Night, they will also be able to do it at Home Sweet Home.
Called simply The Tour – what else needs to be said!? – it is hitting 40 cities in North America from late July through September.
Stops include Chicago, Dallas, Denver Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Toronto, and several locations in Florida and New Jersey. It starts July 20 in Bristow, VA (Washington D.C., area) and concludes Sept. 23 in Hartford, CT.
Tickets for the Live Nation-promoted tour go on sale Friday, March 23rd at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Both bands will have fan club pre-sales beginning Wednesday, March 21st at 10 a.m.

With combined album sales of almost 200 million, KISS and Motley Crue have combine to produce more than 30 No. 1 hits. Known for their elaborate and spectacular stage shows, each band plans to give fans the ultimate summer concert experience with “the most impressive lighting and sound production ever and their signature over-the-top pyrotechnics,” according to the promoter.
This is the first time KISS and Motley Crue will share a stage since 1982.
