Strangers Meet On Plane And Earn Their Wings

A couple – strangers when they boarded – joined the Mile High Club when they met on a Delta flight in October. And got caught.
A 48-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were busted for having oral sex on the plane (geez, you think they would have gone into the restroom).
For this lustful act, they were issued citations (for what, I don’t know) and the matter was turned over to the FBI. It’s possible they could be charged with anything from a misdemeanor to a felony.
Obviously, the rules of public decency apply here but joining the Mile High Club is certainly nothing new for passengers and even airline crews. I have several flight attendant friends who have witnessed passengers going into or coming out of the bathroom together.
One has even admitted having sex in the bathroom with a passenger (this is against the airlines’ rules, by the way). “There’s not a lot of room in that bathroom!,” the flight attendant said.
Personally, I, too, am a member of the Mile High Club. It also was with a stranger, someone I met in the boarding area. I will save the details for another blog post, but let me say that to qualify for this elite club, I strongly believe the act has to be performed with a complete stranger.
Having sex on a plane with a girlfriend/boyfriend or wife/husband does not count in my book. As a couple you can do that anywhere and the Mile High Club was created to celebrate the creativity of people. And getting it on with a stranger, someone you just met, is about as creative as things get if you ask me.
So instead of reprimanding the couple on that Delta flight, I would like to salute them and welcome them to the very exclusive Mile High Club. Strangers Chapter.
I enjoy reading your travel site. Regards
Thank you!
