Routine Weather Is A Part Of The Southern California Lifestyle

It is yet another sunny day in San Diego.
Almost every day one wakes up to the same thing here: the sun blasting through a window, a temperature somewhere in the low 70s. Pull the shades? What, are you crazy!? I like having that sun coming in to wake me each morning. Can’t waste a moment of another sunny day in San Diego!
San Diego is a city where you always need your shades. And an application of suntan lotion.
Some people like to wear hats; otherwise the constant sunshine will be beating down on their heads. Long pants are only for “formal” occasions. So, too, are shoes. Keep these things in mind when packing to traveling to San Diego, be it for business or leisure.
Does one ever get tired of so many sunny days?
Think of it this way.
Do you ever get tired of being pampered, of drinking great wine, of watching endless sunsets or other great elements of life that bring you great pleasure?
Of course not, and that’s the way it is with another sunny day in San Diego. In fact, it’s important to treasure those pleasurable moments, for at any moment you could be whisked back to a place of clouds and rain, heat and sweaty humidity or cold and sleet.
Instead, take advantage of it while you’re in San Diego. Go to the beaches, take a ferry across the bay to Coronado, visit the famous zoo Balboa Park, stroll among the many restaurants in Little Italy and the cafes and great bars of the dynamic Gaslamp Quarter.
And don’t worry about the weather while you’re doing it, for it will be sunny and 70s. And all this without that humidity of other places that makes your clothes clammy after just a few minutes of being outside.
Just don’t forget your shades and your sunscreen. And perhaps also your hat.
