SD Beer Week, Diner En Blanc & Wine & Food Festival Are Top Fun Events All Month

Looking for a fun place to travel to in November?
I suggest packing the bags and heading to San Diego.
Beyond all the obvious attributes of this perpetually sunny city in Southern California, it has three major events that make it one of the world’s hottest destinations of the month.
First of all, there’s SD Beer Week, a celebration of one of America’s great craft beer destinations. There are events, new beer releases and other activities the craft breweries all over the area as well as two big beer festivals, one at the Embarcadero and the other at Torrey Pines. This all takes place from Nov. 2-11.
The second event is Diner en Blanc, the all-white, super-classy pop-up dinner party held at a secret location not revealed until two hours before the event. You need to hustle to take part in this event, for you have to sign up in advance; the party date is Nov. 9.
The third event is the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival. Taking place Nov. 12-18, it’s a week-long series of events that include chefs dinners, food and drink pairings and enough social opportunities including food, wine and cocktails to last you to all your upcoming holiday office and house parties.
If you’re dazed and dazzled by all the events at the Wine + Food Festival and can’t choose which one(s) to attend, know that the biggest and best of them – the must-do one – is the spectacular Grand Tasting. This takes place on the Embarcadero and features great food and drinks as well as a spectacular crowd. It’s one of San Diego’s signature events.
Hey, San Diego is a fine place to visit anytime of the year. But it’s especially great in November.
Cheers!
