TropRock Genre Explained & Performed By Top Musicians

Put on your bathing suit, kick off your sandals and grab a boat drink.
And tune into the #MenWhoBlog Virtual Happy Hour livestream, which in the middle of the good ‘ol summertime, highlighted the tropical beach lifestyle with three tropical musicians and the head of a radio station featuring the type of music that goes with this Jimmy Buffett style of escapism, Eric Babin of RadioTropRock.com.
The featured musicians on the show were Donny Brewer, Danny Rosado and Mike Nash. Plus the show had myself and co-host James Hills of MenWhoBlog.com, Tom Fischer of BourbonBlog.com, and, of course, PubClub.com’s PubClubette Ashley.
But before you watch, get ready to be entertained. And be ready to laugh.
That is because beyond the upbeat music, TropRock artists have a penchant for the pun. Their original songs tell funny tales of things that happen when beaches, boats, bars and booze are in the mix.
The most hilarious moment in this show happened when Brewer closed it with his “two bagger” song. Every single guy knows what a “two bagger” is but PubClubette Ashley did not and be sure to watch her reaction to the lyrics.

Fischer – getting his first exposure to this type of music – was all laughs. The TropRock lifestyle is quite different from what the bowtie-wearing Fischer is used to in his gentlemen’s bourbon-sipping, cigar-puffing world of sophistication.
“It’s what we need right now,” he said.
Babin describes TropRock music as “escapism.”
Nash’s description is a little more to the point. “It’s for people who love to drink and let me introduce you to something that’s going to change your life,” he said with a laugh.
So make your escape to the Virtual Happy Hour. It will put a song in your heart and will also make you want to put a tropical drink in your hand.

Having read this I thought it was rather informative. I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put this article together.
I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading
and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
Glad you enjoy this show!
