‘Amazing’ Vacation Includes Lush Scenery, Sunsets & Fine Food

No doubt, I went into a lot of vacations in my life, thanks to the fact that I and my wife both are the same kinds of globetrotters.
But the most recent caravan that I enjoyed with my better half which was to the rigorous lands of Costa Rica is certainly worth writing about here. I must say that the episode was amazing.
After this vacation, I can vouch on the fact that Costa Rica with its tremendous wealth of biodiversity, stunning range of landscapes, and most importantly the friendliest and happiest people on the planet is really one of the best places to go for a relaxing and enthralling holiday.
Moreover, one of the most appealing parts of the holidays was the episode of surfing two oceans on the same day. The limited size and geographic location of this excellent place on the narrow isthmus of Central America make it an appropriate place to do so.
We drove from one coast to the other in just six hours and thus we were able to catch our first wave of the day on the Caribbean coast and then hopped over to the Pacific for the last sunset dive before the day ended. And, oh! Yes, It is worth mentioning about the fact that the water is equally warm on both the sides.
Also, this is not the end! The stupendous chapter of thrill and amaze started even before reaching to Costa Rica as I was able to book the flight tickets at an affordable rate while grabbing a lucrative deal from CouponsMonk. Further, when we landed to that beautiful place then we had a yet another significant memorable experience of relishing the beauty and uniqueness of the Costa Rican carreta which is not a typical cart but in fact, it is the most renowned craft and a UNESCO Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
The way in which these carts are vibrantly painted and incorporated with intricate designs made us simply fall in love with the fantastic art work.
Well, how can I forget the third day of our trip? It will always remain in my memories. It’s because that was the day when we went out for exploring the natural and colorful flora and fauna of this splendid place.
I must say that the national parks of Costa Rica have such a captivating a beauty which can’t be explained in words. The wonderful variety of tropical rainforest, tropical dry forest, cloud forest, mangrove forest etc. are absolutely impeccable and untouched which had let me feel myself exactly in the lap of nature.
Also, the yet another best thing that we simply loved about Costa Rica is nothing but our visit to the Ballena National Marine Park which is a famous humpback whale hangout! It was low tide going on when we visited the place and from the air, the unique formation looked absolutely like a perfect Whale’s tail. We, as sea gazers, walked out to the accompanying sandbar to take a glance over the real humpback’s tail.
Nevertheless, apart from the natural beauty of Costa Rica, the authentic dishes of the place that we tasted were simply delicious and on thinking about those I still can’t stop myself from drooling. Be it Gallo Pinto, Casado, Tamale, or Sopa Negra, I just loved them all!!
I’’ve lived in Costa Rica for 8 years now and I can truthfully say that I have not seen a Tico (as they call themselves) ever show any sign of anger!
