12 Bars Of Christmas
It’s tonite, Friday! And for starters, I want to give a shoutout to Nick Macko, the organizer who puts together the whole thing. Nick organizes the bars, the schedule and the drink specials at each bar. So he deserves a big “cheers” from everyone. And speaking of the bars and drink specials, they are all listed here and this event is free to attend:

Redondo Beach Boat Parade
On Saturday, decorated boats go back and forth in the King Harbor channel. It’s a good excuse to have a few concealed cocktails before hitting the bars in the area in a festive setting. The link below has all the details – times, best viewing location and recommended bars.

Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks
The most spectacular, do-not-miss holiday event in Los Angeles is on Sunday. Thousands turn out for this annual event that involves a stage featuring singers and dancers, Joe’s Band, house parties at every house on The Strand for a mile and people all over downtown Manhattan Beach to watch an incredible fireworks show set to holiday music. The below link has all the information, including the times.

Other Top Los Angeles Holiday Happenings
Marina Del Rey Boat Parade – If you want a bigger boat parade, then instead of King Harbor on Saturday, head north to Marina del Rey. I’ve ridden my bike there from the South Bay and then hustled back to catch the end of the Redondo boat parade. More info below.

Newport Beach Boat Parade – If you REALLY want to see a boat parade, head down to Newport Beach. This is Orange County’s holiday equivalent of the Manhattan Beach fireworks, its signature event of the season. It’s so big it goes on for five days!
