Day Of Days Band Covers Rock Music With Talented Touring Musicians

It’s Pancho’s, at the corner of Rosecrans and Highland Ave., in this seaside Los Angeles community just a few minutes south of LAX.

The energy in the tiny cantina of this otherwise large Mexican restaurant is fueled by the weekend band called Day After Days. It rocks classic rock cover and fun sing-along songs (think Journey) to a lively South Bay crowd (mid 20s up to mid-50s).
Day After Days is a collection on incredibly talented musicians who tour on a regular basis with rock bands or spent many years as the drummer, bass player or other member of top rock bands: Fleetwood Mac, Alice Cooper, Styx, Stevie Nicks…
They are led by the dynamic Jim Wheeler on saxaphone and keyboard who himself has toured with Kenny Loggins.
As a result, Pancho’s rocks on weekends as a result. The tiny cantina is jumpin’ with the music and the people who pack it, dancing around the tables and singing.
There’s no cover and never a line, tho sometimes you have to squeeze to get into the cantina (the drinks are a bit pricey, tho PubClub recommends getting the Dirty Maggie margarita).
And that’s not all the music at Pancho’s; it has entertainment seven nights a week. The most lively non-weekend night is Tuesdays when locals go over after Taco Tuesday at OB’s.
