South Bay Scream, Richard Blade At The Redondo Pier & Hermosa Beach Bar Parties

Especially if you’re single.
That’s because the people of the South Bay love to dress up and go to Halloween parties. There are not house parties all over the place like there are for the Fourth of July, but rather events at bars, a screamin’ party that is not at the Portofino this year, a haunted hotel and several more events.
So put on your costume, grab your witch’s brew and get to know what’s happening in the LA Beach Cities of Hermosa, Manhattan & Redondo Beach for Halloween & Halloween weekend.
But before reading this, take this PubClub tour down The Strand to check out these “scary” houses!

The premier Halloween party in the area is happening on this night. If you’re single, chances are you’ll be at this party. This year it’s moved from the Portofino to Alta House in Hermosa Beach (formerly Ocean Bar, so a great location) . Tickets are $40.

Halloween Night South Bay Halloween Events
This is a night for the bars. Especially since Halloween is on a Wednesday night.
The Slip Bar & Eatery is having a haunted trivia night. It’s a trivia content with prizes and also a costume contest. There are food and drink specials and half-priced bottles of wine…Sharkeez in Hermosa and Manhattan are having a costume contest with cash and prizes, plus drink specials…Shade Hotel’s Zinc Louge in Manhattan Beach is hosting Halloween Circus, which is a Halloween-themed party that, among other things, has a magician and tarot card reader. There’s no cover at any of these bars.
Of course, you could walk The Strand in Hermosa Beach in costume and instead of doing like the kids and asking people in the houses for candy, you can ask the hosts for cocktails!
There is also a trick or treat at Riviera Village in Redondo Beach in which some shops hand out candy, and for adults, you can stroll around and hit a few of the restaurants and/or bars. It’s called the Riviera Village Halloween Stroll. It’s early, 4-6 p.m. Hey, just in time for Happy Hour!
