Dates, Demonstrations, Speakers, Exhibitors & Ticket Information

It’s in the form of the annual Travel & Adventure Show, which in 2018 is Feb. 24-25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in Halls, G, H and J.
The show runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for one day, $22 for a two-day ticket. You can purchase on-line (and as of this posting the on-line price was discounted at $11 and $18) or buy at the door. It does not sell out, so that’s not an issue.
A couple hundred tourism boards take part in what is the nation’s largest travel show. Countries in Africa Asia, Australia/South Pacific, the Caribbean,, Middle East, North America (this includes several destinations in California), and Latin and South America all have booths and displays.

In addition, there’s an area devoted to cruise ships travel.
Of course, this is like just stepping onto the curb after arriving at a destination, for like most places you visit, there’s much more to it than what initially meets the eye. The Travel & Adventure Show features a lengthy lineup of travel industry speakers, live entertainment consisting of cultural dancers, and cooking demonstrations in a Taste of Los Angeles area of the show floor.
There’s also a scuba tank where you can try out scuba diving equipment, a bike demo area and – we’re not making this up – a camel ride area.
