On The Heels of NYE Fans Get French Quarter And Bourbon Street

To me, this seemed as simple a call as a quarterback sneak on fourth an inches.
Defensive backs standing in the end zone to stop a Hail Mary.
New Orleans was chosen as the location of the new SEC-Big 12 sort-of championship game. It will be the Allstate Sugar Bowl and will line up the conference champions in a post-season bowl game. The first will be played on Jan. 1, 2015. The teams will be the winners of each conference unless they are involved in the National Championship playoffs.
New Orleans will also likely bid to host the title game on a rotating basis.
The Big Easy beat out Dallas. And nothing against the Texas city, but New Orleans is a better place for the game.
It has the French Quarter. Bourbon Street. Is used to holding huge events.
Fans can park it in the Quarter, eat, drink and party, and walk everywhere.
Plus, the game is going to be held on New Year’s Day. And New Orleans is PubClub.com’s Top Destination for New Year’s Eve!
New Orleans should host EVERY championship event (the year after the BCS National Championship was there, the 2013 Super Bowl is in the Big Easy) and while this really isn’t a championship it’s still a winning location for the fans.
So hey, let’s party!
