Why do they call it October when it’s really ROCKtober with all these fun and wild party events happening all over the USA and the world!?

We also have some important nightlife news about Jimmy Buffett concerts and take you on board a super-luxury cruise ships. We also send our thoughts to those affected by Hurricane Ian.
The party events are topped off by Halloween, which is like adding a floater to a rum drink. So let’s get right to it!
Munich Oktoberfest & Around The Globe
The world’s biggest and best beer festival is underway and concludes this weekend in Munich. Have you ever been? It’s a true event for beer lovers – beer tents as large as airplane hangers and brews poured into large (and heavy) 1-liter glass mugs. They even have beer police to be sure you get a good pour!
And not only that, but nearly every city in the world has a local Octoberfest celebration with oompha bands, big beers and a lively beer-drinking crowd. Some places, such as Sydney and Zurich, don’t even let the party stop there, for they have year-round Oktoberfest-style bierhalls.

The Pigskin Prognosticator College Football Expert Picks
Okay sports fans, this one is for you. The Pigskin Prognosticator provides his exclusive college football picks just for PubClub readers! Who else calls Missouri’s coach Duncekwitz for blowing that game to Auburn? Nobody! Here’s a sample; click the link for the complete post:
The Prognosticator is always amused by the college football analysts on all the networks previewing and predicting the week’s upcoming games.
They always talk matchups, who’s playing quarterback and blah, blah, blah. Not once do they factor in the historical matchups of teams. You can only get that right here. Cases in point: the Prognosticator was spot-on with last week’s Arkansas-Texas A&M and USC-Oregon State games. All the crazy things that happened in Jerry’s World and USC’s near-loss were not a surprise; they were all predicted. You see, college football is as more about those things than it is matchups. It’s college football tradition.
A recent tradition is the firing of coaches in September. Not that anybody really noticed, but Georgia Tech fired Geoff Collins and, in a new twist, he took his AD with him. Another one would have happened were it not for Eliah Duncekwitz coaching like Mario Cristo-ball by playing not to lose. You can’t ever do that and especially not at Auburn and the result was predictable – a loss. It likely saved the coach on the other sideline from getting a pre-October buyout. Maybe he was just doing a favor to the guy who once hired him.
Two others – Cristo-ball and Sparty’s Mel Tucker – are safe only because they signed ridiculous overinflated contracts without proving they can actually win anything, another new college football tradition. Fans, boosters and alumni get fed up easily on failed expectations and in Miami they are already competing with UCLA for most boring game atmosphere in the sport. A team need to win big to even hope to get students and fans to games played at stadiums 20+ miles from campus and neither are on the verge of that happening anytime soon.
