Legendary Singer and Songwriter Performs at Eastside Cannery July 21
One of the most influential songwriters of the 1960s occasionally takes the stage himself.
And he’s coming to Vegas, at the Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel on Saturday, July 21.
Sadaka’s list of huge hits includes the catchy light tunes “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” “Laughter in the Rain,” and “Love Will Keep Us Together.” His songs have been recorded by an incredible list of Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famers: Elvis Presley, Carol King, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, Jan & Dean, Glen Campbell, Shirley Bassey, Jim Neighbors, and well, I’m getting tired of typing their names. And also the Monkees and the Partridge Family, to show his diversity (Elvis to the Partridge Family!?).
Sedaka now has just released “The Music of My Life”, a CD of brand new Sedaka material, including his first ever Salsa song, “Do You Remember”, produced by Grammy Award Winner David Foster. “
This is my best collection of songs in 57 years of songwriting. It might be my last set of pop songs, as I feel I cannot top these”, said Sedaka.
Tickets to the 8:30 p.m. performance start at $24.95 (not including applicable service charges and taxes) and are available online at www.eastsidecannery.com, or by calling The Eastside Cannery box office at (702) 856-5470.
Eastside Cannery is located at 5255 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas 89122.
